Terms and conditions · owner-review draft

Terms for using the editor and its downloads

These original terms are an owner-review draft. The operator must confirm its legal identity, jurisdiction, and applicable consumer requirements before publishing a final agreement. They describe the current free, browser-local product rather than an account or subscription service.

The service and its intended use

AppScreenshot.online provides templates and browser-based design controls for preparing app screenshots and related product images. Public use of the current editor and exports is free, and no account is required. The service is intended to help you arrange your own truthful app content. It does not operate your app-store account, submit a listing on your behalf, provide store review decisions, or promise a particular marketing outcome. Availability and supported features may change as the implementation develops.

Your material and your responsibility

You retain your rights in the screenshots, text, photos, logos, and other material you supply. You are responsible for having permission to use that material and for ensuring that the finished design does not misrepresent the product. Do not use the editor to create unlawful content, infringe another person’s rights, impersonate an organization, expose private information, or distribute malicious material. A supplied template does not give you rights to content copied from elsewhere or to a brand you place inside it.

The sample app interfaces are fictional and must be replaced before a real listing is published. Check every caption, screen, statistic, and feature description against what your app actually provides. You are responsible for submissions you make to stores and for complying with their current content requirements.

What the supplied assets permit

The intended permission for original template elements is to edit them and use the resulting exported images for your own app or product communication, including commercial use, without required attribution. The separate license page explains this permission and its limits. It does not transfer ownership of the website, editor source code, wordmark, or unrelated brand assets. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses. If an asset has a specific notice, review it before extending the asset beyond a finished design.

Local work needs a separate copy

Projects are stored in your browser rather than a guaranteed cloud archive. Browser maintenance, storage restrictions, clearing site data, software changes, or device failure can remove work or prevent recovery. Keep downloaded project backups and original source images for designs that matter. A local project address is not a sharing link. The service does not promise that a design can be reopened from another device without transferring a backup. An exported image preserves its visible result, but it does not replace editable project data.

Review every export before relying on it

Check the actual downloaded files for dimensions, image format, cropping, ordering, legibility, and accurate content. Output presets help with technical preparation; they do not guarantee acceptance by Apple, Google, or another publisher. The guides are practical information and may need updating as store requirements change. Use the official linked documentation and your own submission interface for the final check. AppScreenshot.online is independent of the app stores and does not claim an endorsement from them.

Questions, errors, and final legal review

Report an issue through contact@appscreenshot.online with a sanitized example and the steps needed to reproduce it. There is no stated response-time commitment or professional advisory engagement. The owner must review any limitation of liability, mandatory consumer rights, dispute process, effective date, and governing-law provisions with appropriate advice before making these terms final. This draft deliberately leaves unverified operator details unstated. Future additions such as accounts, remote storage, or collaboration require the terms to be reconsidered against the actual deployed service.
