Privacy: what stays in the browser and what leaves it

This is an owner-review draft for the current implementation. It describes browser-local editing, Google Analytics measurement, hosting requests and email contact. The site owner must confirm analytics settings, email handling, retention and applicable requirements before publication.

Screenshots and design projects

The editor processes imported screenshots and design changes in your browser. The current application does not include a server endpoint for storing uploaded project images, an account database, or a cloud project library. Image export also runs locally. Projects are saved using browser-local storage, including IndexedDB, so the same browser profile can reopen the work. Avoid importing content you do not need for the design, especially personal information, credentials, confidential records, or images you are not permitted to use.

Browser-local storage is separate from a secure archival service. Other people with access to the same browser profile or device may be able to access local projects. The application does not provide a password-protected vault for your designs.

Local storage and downloaded backups

Saving locally writes project data to this site’s storage area in your browser. Clearing site data, browser cleanup tools, private browsing behavior, storage limits, or device loss can remove that data. Downloaded backups and exported images are files in a location you choose through your browser. They are outside the site’s local project storage once downloaded. Deleting site data does not delete those files, email attachments, or copies in your own cloud backup system. Use your device and storage-provider controls to manage those copies.

Requests needed to load the site

Visiting a website sends network requests to the hosting infrastructure that delivers its pages and assets. Those requests can reveal technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested path and request time. A hosting provider or content delivery network may keep operational or security logs. Browser-local editing does not make browsing anonymous and does not prevent these ordinary delivery requests.

Google Analytics measurement

The site loads the Google Analytics 4 tag to measure visits, page views and usage, including real-time visitor activity. The tag communicates with Google and can use cookies and browser identifiers. Measurement can include the page address, referring website, browser or device information and visit timing. The deployed property's settings determine additional measurement features and retention.

Our integration does not send uploaded screenshots, project backups or canvas text as custom analytics events. Those design assets continue to be processed and saved in your browser. Analytics requests are separate from local project storage. Browser tracking protections or extensions may block measurement.

When you choose to contact us

The contact link opens your own email application. Sending an email shares the address you send from, the message, and any attachments with the receiving email service and the people authorized to handle that mailbox. Include only information needed to explain the issue. A sanitized reproduction is preferable to a project containing private screenshots. The site owner must establish and disclose an appropriate email retention practice; this draft does not invent a deletion period or a service arrangement that has not been confirmed.

External links and your choices

Some guides link to official platform documentation. Following an external link loads a different website whose privacy practices and storage behavior apply to that visit. You can manage local site storage in your browser settings and remove downloaded copies using your file manager. Before deleting storage, save a project backup if you want to retain editable work. If you have a privacy question, contact the displayed email address with the relevant page or workflow, without sending the sensitive material itself.

Review before the service changes

Changes to analytics settings, remote asset storage, accounts, forms, collaboration or other network services can change this disclosure and may require further user choices. The owner should review the policy against the deployed configuration, including the Google Analytics property and any hosting features that inject scripts or collect additional request data. Current design assets are edited locally, while website delivery, analytics and voluntary email involve network services.
